This video is from the spring of ‘09, during a period where we were trying to teach Reina some table manners. Up to this point, if she wanted down from her high chair, she would point and yell “DOWN!” (and she does in the video).
I don’t know how she defeated the latch on Mommy’s make-up drawer, but this was the result. Look up “Caught Red-Handed” in the dictionary and this photo should appear:
Everyone is asking about Reina’s reaction so far to the new face of the family, so I thought I’d give a report.
So far things have splendid. Reina really hasn’t acted out and she’s been very interested in Sohni. As she and I were leaving the house yesterday, she even had the wherewithal to utter a slight “Bye Sohni.” Of course anytime we’re holding Sohni, Reina wants to be picked up too, but I think that is to be expected.
This is your guest blogger.. reporting!
Baby Girl !! Sohni Kara Gibbswas born at 8:37 am. She weights 6 lbs 14 oz. Mom & baby are doing fine. Dad will be on later to post more info..and maybe some pictures!! Congratulations Reina on the arrival of your new sister.
Reina will be a big sister in just 2 more weeks. On the big day, in the morning of June 2nd, Reina will be Twittering from the hospital. We we also have a guest blogger announcing the birth here on the site!
Reina’s Aunt Jamie put on a wonderful (and early) Easter Egg Hunt over the weekend. The best part? Reina was the sole huntress and, as such, collected all the eggs. Something like 50 of them…With beautiful weather and the lush landscape of the famed “uberdeck” we got some great shots. I’ve put them up over at Shutterfly (public link). Enjoy!
This is Reina’s new kitchen, with cool appliances to boot! Our living room has been turned into Imaginary Land, complete with said kitchen, dollhouse, and a small wooden castle.
